City Hall was open to the public last night with a display in the main hall laying out the City’s zoning proposals for the development of downtown.

Graphs and visuals depicted LRT expansion sites through the downtown core and potential development areas under careful consideration.

“As a follow-up to the very well received plan, this is a zoning program,” said Bruce Irvine, with Vancouver planning firm HB Lanarc. “This sets the expectation out for developers of what they can do.”

Duncan Fraser, of the city’s planning and development department was also present to answer questions and explain the various projects last night.
