"Recognizing the contractual agreement that exists between the city and Ottawa Pro Baseball, our idea is to have teams use the field during the day like any other field in the city, mitigating the need for Hydro reducing unnecessary expenses and simplifying a resolution," a press release from Monette and Thompson says.
"This is a field of dreams and we will be doing everything in our power to see this diamond used and dreams made a reality for teams across the city."
The Can-Am League ended the Ottawa Voyageurs last spring.
