Shiny Mustangs and colourful Corvettes were just a few of the hot rods on display in Bowness for the 7th Annual Show and Shine yesterday.
A couple hundred muscle cars and sunny weather equalled the perfect recipe for the best show yet, according to organizer Bowness Auto Parts.
“We had 161 registered vehicles and a lot more people that just parked their cars on the streets. It was great to see,” Rob Lowery said.
Attending the Show and Shine for a second time were Al and Donna Lyon, who were standing proudly by their prized baby-blue ‘51 Chevy.
“We go to as many shows as we can, but we love the atmosphere here,” Al said.
“And it’s great nostalgia for us old folks,” his wife Donna added.
