There’s nothing better for what ails you than a shopping spree, and when 300 innovative merchants gather under one roof, you can almost feel your tension melting away.

The Clothing Show, now in its 30th year, offers an eclectic mix of unique, unusual and handcrafted items, many of them discounted just for the occasion.

You will find emerging talent in men’s and women’s clothing and jewelry, an array of fabulous accessories, antique and vintage jewelry and clothing, as well as a “sample sales” section, where name brands such as Rock & Republic, Miss Sixty, Seven and Diesel offer items at up to 90 per cent off retail prices.

The Clothing Show works to promote emerging talent and local designers by providing an affordable venue to test their products with the public and receive instant feedback. Explore the future with names such as Kity, Olga Saras, Passenger Pigeon and more.

There’s also a street wear and casual section where you’ll find workout gear, yoga wear, urban street styles and gothic fashions.

Bargain hunters can find great buys on Sunday afternoon near the end of the show when exhibitors mark down their merchandise even more.

The Clothing Show, Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Automotive Building at Exhibition Place. Admission is $8 in advance and $10 at the door. Call 416-516-9859 or go to clothingshow.com for more information.
