Coldplay is set to play at the 2016 Super Bowl Halftime show, according to multiple reports.

The British rock band will headline the halftime showat the NFL's Super Bowl 50 in February,The Wall Street Journal reported.

Super Bowl 50 will be held at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Previous artists to perform at the highly televised event includeBeyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars and Katy Perry. The NFL has yet to formally announce Coldplay's performance, but it was expected to make the announcement Thursday, Billboard reported.
