College student registers .341 on breathalyzer, gains Twitter fame

It's safe to say Samantha Lynne Goudie has not learned her lesson after a breathalyzer test registered her blood alcohol content at .341. The drunken co-ed live-tweeted her arrest Saturday with surprising coherence after a football game between Northern Illinois and Iowa.
Goudie, 22, of Iowa City, jumped the stadium barrier and tried to run onto the field. Police officers arrested and charged her with public intoxication, giving her a breathalyzer test in jail. Unbelievably, Goudie registered a blood alcohol content level of .341 — more than four times the .08 BAC drunk driving limit.
Goudie, whose Twitter handle is appropriately @Vodkda_samm, has been tweeting nonstop since the arrest, starting with "Just went to jail #yolo" and "Blew a .341 in jail." Her Twitter followers blew up from 2,000 to more than 13,000, and she has been retweeting supportive messages from her new fans, including Labor Day-appropriate tweets about her status as an American hero. Her Twitter followers have gone to extreme levels to glorify her dangerous drinking habits, comparing her to Jesus and proposing marriage.
Goudie has taken to Twitter not just to boast of her drunken exploits, but also to defend herself against the "haters."
"Ive gotten so many hate tweets because I was drunk...uh I get good grades sorry for being like every other college student," she wrote.
The University of Iowa police report described Goudie as "unsteady on her feet" during the time of her arrest. Apparently unfazed by her stint in jail, Goudie went right back to partying and drinking boxed wine this weekend, according to her tweets.
