Sarah Conrad has made it all but official: She’s going to the Winter Olympics in Vancouver next month.

The Dartmouth native is expected to be officially named to the Canadian snowboard team today in Quebec City after placing fourth in the women’s half-pipe at a World Cup event in Stoneham, Que., on the weekend.

Conrad was the top-finishing Canadian and earned her second top-five placing of the World Cup tour. That locked up her spot as Canada’s top-ranked female this season.

The 24-year-old will look to better her 15th-place finish at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy.
