A police officer was hit with bear spray as he tried to grab a woman suspected of breaking into a truck.
Edmonton police say officers saw a group of four people (two males and two females) break into a Dodge truck in a parking lot near 103 Street and 116 Avenue.

As officers attempted to arrest them, all four suspects fled on foot. Three of the suspects were caught immediately and arrested without incident.
The fourth, a 28-year-old woman, turned on the pursuing officer and sprayed him with a canister of bear spray.
"The officer fought through the effects of the spray and was able to arrest the last suspect," the police said in a release.
A 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old man have been charged with mischief under $5,000, theft under $5,000, possession of break-in tools and resisting arrest.
A 28-year-old woman has been charged with mischief under $5,000, theft under $5,000, possession of break-in tools, resisting arrest, assault with a weapon, possession of a dangerous weapon and breach of recognizance.
A 17-year-old girl has also been charged with mischief under $5,000, theft under $5,000 and possession of break-in tools.
