Cops are turning to the public in hopes of tracking down a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a young woman in July.
Police released a composite drawing of a man they believe assaulted an 18-year-old woman on Saddleridge Drive NE on July 14, after following her and engaging in small talk before the attack.
Det. Guy Baker of the sex crimes unit said the attacker was very aggressive and the attack is believed to be random.
“The victim used extreme courage coming forward to be able to tell us the events that took place,” he said, noting the attacker is not believed to be involved in any other known assaults.
The attacker is described as an East Indian man, 18 to 21 years old, five-foot-eight to five-foot-11, 135 to 140 pounds with a slim build.
