With tight restrictions, the accused driver in a deadly hit-and-run accident was granted bail yesterday.
A judge ruled 36-year-old Darren Coupal will be under 24-house arrest on a $100,000 bond, but will not be allowed to drive a car, consume alcohol or drugs or enter a bar or liquor store.
Coupal will only be allowed to go out for work, his daughter’s soccer games and his son’s graduation.
