Creating their own trends

Claudette Mink and Jonathan Renna.

Claudette Mink, actress, plays Laura Nelson in The Guard on Global

Q: What products make you look and feel good?

A: I wouldn’t dream of going a day without moisturizer. I use La Prairie. Nothing beats a bubble bath to relieve stress. I have recently discovered a magnificent concealer from Christian Dior. It’s called Diorskin Sculpt. Most important, I like to get 10 hours sleep a night.

Q: Describe your style?

A: I think dishevelled contractor. When I’m not working on the house or in the garden I like clothes with clean lines, nothing too frilly or trendy.

Q: How do you keep life in perspective?

A: Fortunately, I don’t sweat the small stuff. I’m not a worrier. Surround yourself with wonderful people and life will be good even on the bad days.

Jonathan Renna, second soloist with the National Ballet of Canada and native of Ottawa, will next perform at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in 24 Preludes by Chopin & Soldiers’ Mass & Rooster, March 8-16

Q: What products make you look and feel good?

A: I use the following products: From Clinique for Men, the Face Scrub and Post-Shave Healer. From Lush, the Karma Kream and The Olive Branch bath and shower gel.

Q: Describe your style?

A: I would say my style is very clean cut and groomed. I tend to wear things that are form-fitting. I really like blue jeans and collar shirts. I’m not a person who follows fashion trends but I think if I was a bit more of a shopaholic, I might.
