Miley Cyrus is terrified of disappointing her parents, reports. The Hannah Montana star is determined never to go off the rails like many child stars.

The 16-year-old actress said: “I think it’s selfish to go out partying all the time, especially if you have little ones in your family. I have a nine-year-old sister, and I don’t want her to go to school and have people make fun of her for it.”

However, Cyrus — who shot to fame at the tender age of 12 — admits it’s hard to resist temptation living in Hollywood.

She added to America’s Glamour magazine: “At one of the very first awards shows I ever did, there was a bottle of vodka in my gift bag. No one cared that they were giving this to a 12-year-old.”

On his radio show, Ryan Seacrest recently asked her if she plans on marrying her boyfriend, Justin Gaston. “If he gets a pretty ring,” Cyrus joked. But her mom was quick to defuse the drama the next day.

“When I was 16, I defiantly thought that too, I was going to marry early,” Tish Cyrus told Hollyscoop. “She’s got a lot of growing up to do.”
