A 36-year-old Dartmouth man is facing several charges from an alleged hit-and-run incident earlier this month that resulted in serious injuries to three people.
Halifax Regional Police say a Toyota Corolla truck and a Chevrolet Silverado car collided head-on on April 10 around 2 a.m. near the intersection of Braemar Drive and Braeside Court in Dartmouth.
The driver of the Silverado fled the scene, police say, while the three occupants in the other vehicle were all injured and had to be cut out of the vehicle.
The 36-year-old turned himself into police yesterday and is facing three counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm and one count of failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
He’s scheduled to appear at Dartmouth provincial court in June.
