Police say a drug deal in Dartmouth has led to five people being charged with drug trafficking and possession.

Officers with the Halifax Regional Police and RCMP’s Integrated Drug Unit say they saw a drug deal take place near the intersection of Highfield Park Drive and Victoria Road on Wednesday afternoon. From this, police executed a search warrant on a house in the area and allegedly found cocaine, dilaudid, hash, money and drug paraphernalia.

Dartmouth’s Patrick John Bevin, 35, Halifax’s Robert Nicholas Cox, 25, Harrietsfield’s Natalie Catherine Digioacchino, 28, Dartmouth’s Jareen Tyrell Gallant, 21, and Cow Bay’s Suzanne Silver, 38, all face charges ranging from drug trafficking to breach of conditions.

Four appeared in court on Friday. Silver will appear in court on July 28.
