When Avenged Sevenfold is headlining an event like the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival, what does a band like Disturbed do? They co-headline!

Chicago’s Disturbed has been around since the mid-90s, forming in 1996 when musicians Dan Donegan, Steve (Fuzz) Kmak, and Mike Wengren hired David Draiman as their singer. Since the band’s formation, they have sold more than 11 million albums worldwide, making them one of the largest grossing rock bands in recent years.

The band has released five studio albums, including its new album, Asylum, at the end of August.

The group’s last studio album, the self-produced Indestructible, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart in June 2008 and remained in the Top 10 for five weeks.

Indestructible was the band’s third consecutive No. 1 album, following Believe (2002) and Ten Thousand Fists (2005), making Disturbed one of only six bands in history to score three consecutive No. 1 debuts with studio albums.
