Contest winners get a trip to see music lovebirds
Country singer Tim McGraw first discussed marriage with his future wife, Faith Hill, while cruising around in a Jeep.
Many of life’s funniest or most memorable moments happen in our cars.
One iconic auto brand is celebrating its role in the lives of its owners with a special contest involving country music’s hottest couple and their own personal story.
When country music star Tim McGraw first discussed marriage with his wife, fellow superstar Faith Hill, they were actually riding in a Jeep.
The couple remembers that day in State College, Pa., during their first tour together in 1996.
“We had a few hours to roam around town and this nice young man, one of the runners there at the arena, offered his jeep. Tim was driving and he … I won’t tell you what he said,” laughed Hill.
“I said ‘quit messing with me girl,’” McGraw chipped in. “That’s when we decided we were gonna take our relationship serious.”
Jeep wants other owners to share their favourite Jeep stories, too. As McGraw and Hill’s Soul2Soul Tour hits the road, we’re asking the public to share original hilarious, thought-provoking, romantic or even odd, stories about their Jeep vehicles.
The Share Your Favourite Jeep Story grand prize is a three-day, two-night trip for two to Anaheim, Calif., to be in the front row for McGraw and Hill’s performance.
To submit your story by July 16, visit jeep.com/soul2soul.
