A doctor from Mississauga is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting a disabled woman in a Hamilton hospital. Police are continuing to investigate and say there may be other victims in the GTA.

Dr. Justin Fuminori Onzuka, 36, was arrested by Hamilton police Saturday, said Det. Helena Russell of Hamilton police.

The woman told police she was assaulted while Onzuka completed his medical residency at Hamilton Health Sciences hospital in 1994.

Onzuka, who has practised emergency medicine in Toronto, Hamilton and Mississauga, was charged with criminal harassment, sexual assault, administering a noxious thing, sexual exploitation of a person with a disability and breach of trust.

Russell said Onzuka has provided information about other incidents but no names. Police are tracking down those who have been identified and further charges are pending, Russell said.
