With summer’s heat officially here, it’s time to peel the layers off.
Because we can’t really see it and pay more attention to our face, we tend to neglect our neck, keeping it snuggled under thick scarves throughout the winter. The problem with wearing scarves is that it can cause dryness and irritation to the skin on the neck, which is thin and sensitive. With the warmer weather on its way, is you’re bound to be revealing more skin so give your neck some TLC by exfoliating with scrubs — not acids.
While looking upward, to keep the skin taut, apply a facial scrub to the front and sides of the neck and massage lightly in circular motions for 60 seconds. Since the skin on the neck is delicate, it’s important to use a facial scrub that doesn’t contain natural grains such as walnut husks, apricot kernels, seed or shell powders as they can scratch and irritate the skin.
