About 30 naked bicyclists rode through Halifax on Saturday for the Halifax portion of the World Naked Bike Ride.

The riders, many sporting just footwear and a bike helmet, left from the Bus Stop Theatre on Gottingen Street towards the Halifax Common in the mid-afternoon.

This is the third consecutive year a naked bike ride has been held in Halifax.

The World Naked Bike Ride movement began in Vancouver in 2004, with six cities across Canada taking part this year, along with hundreds across the world.
