AutoShow contest provides the ‘Perfect Moment’
The Lexus RX 350 is not only built in Canada, it’s one of the most popular SUVs on the road today. And at the Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto this week, show attendees can enter to win a private tour of the plant where the vehicle is made, then drive home with a brand new, 2008 Lexus RX 350 fresh off the assembly line.
“I’m sure that for the winner of this contest, picking up their new RX 350 SUV — factory fresh — will be the first of many delightful moments they enjoy in a Lexus,” said Stuart Payne, director responsible for the Lexus brand in Canada.
Visitors to the Canadian International AutoShow can enter to win “The Perfect Moment.”
The grand-prize package includes a two-night stay at the Langdon Hall Country House and Spa in Cambridge, Ont. The winner will also enjoy a private tour of nearby Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada Inc., where the RX 350 is built on the only Lexus assembly line outside of Japan. After the tour, the winner will be presented with the keys to a new 2008 Lexus RX 350, at the plant itself.
“Lexus has built an international reputation for quality and client satisfaction — and at the heart of that is the care and attention with which we design and manufacture our luxury vehicles,” Payne continued. “The winner of this contest will have a unique opportunity to learn how we’ve done that at one of the most critically acclaimed automotive assembly operations in the world. On top of that, they’ll enjoy two nights of Lexus-class pampering at one of Ontario’s award-winning spa hotels. What a great way to start a life-long relationship with Lexus!”
The Canadian International AutoShow runs until Feb. 25 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and Rogers Centre. You’ll find the Lexus display in the Rogers Centre.
