Police are investigating after a 50-year-old man suffered a serious head injury during a rollover collision on Highway 416 near Bankfield Road Thursday morning.
Paramedics arrived to find a driver of a school transportation service with serious neck and head injuries after the minivan he was driving left the road, rolled over, and landed on its wheels in the ditch between the north and southbound lanes.
There were no passengers in the van at the time of the collision and emergency workers conducted a search of the area as a precautionary measure.
The man is in serious condition in hospital.
