Four men aged 17 to 21 killed in Abbotsford over the last six weeks had ties to the Bacon brothers, police said on Thursday.
The deaths of the low-level drug dealers are a warning to other youth associated with gangs, Abbotsford police Chief Bob Rich said as he announced the launch of a Youth Help Line that would help youngsters get out of drug dealing.
“The message to them is that they must speak to a parent, a teacher, a counsellor, a coach or a police officer to change the direction of their lives,” Rich said in a statement.
