The Last House on the Left
Director: Dennis Iliadis

Wes Craven’s original 1972 rural home invasion shocker was filmed on the cheap for drive-ins.

This one’s a remake, and a lot of things have changed in the intervening 37 years, most not for the better. Craven and Cunningham produce, leaving hired gun Dennis Iliadis to direct the film largely from their original bloodstained blueprint. This time, Craven can’t profess innocence or youthful folly: he’s cashing in on the torture-porn fad (the Saw and Hostel franchises) that delights in human degradation.

Extras include deleted scenes and a featurette.
