It’s a family tradition to attend Sneak-a-Peek every year, but this year it had a twist.
Lorne Smith usually works at the Stampede grounds and his loved ones attend without him — but this year Smith got the night off and joined his wife, Kara, and their children, Kasen, 3, and Hadleigh, 1, on Thursday to make it a family affair.
“It’s nice to be able to go with them as a family,” he said.
Sneak-a-Peek is the perfect time, the Smith family added.
“There’s not as many people. You won’t lose the kids as easy this way,” Kara said.
