Eco-chic designer blends casual with glamourous

Comfort and glamour graced the runway at last night’s show by designer Nicole Bridger.
Her eco-chic collection, debuting at B.C. Fashion Week, was a blend of well-chosen earth tones and beautifully draped wraps, cardigans and gowns.
Bridger’s full-leg, high-waisted pants were a favourite amongst the crowd at Gastown’s Chinese Cultural Centre and her dresses were equally as admired. Flowing across the runway, Bridger’s dresses are ideal for fall and winter parties.
“It’s a totally wearable collection for the ‘now’ women, very West Coast,” Bridger said. “(It’s) comfortable, casual, but at the same time glamorous.”
With an impressive design history including a fashion degree from Ryerson University, an internship with Vivian Westwood and co-creator of Lululemon’s Oqoqo, there is no doubt that Bridger’s star is on the rise.
