It’s the biggest thing to happen to iPhones since the iPhone 3 and it’s finally available in Edmonton.
The iPhone 4 is here and the line ups started forming more than 12 hours before the Apple store in West Edmonton Mall opened its doors at a special time for the Canada-wide launch at 7 a.m. Friday.
Sarah Mackey said she’s excited for Apple’s latest gadget but not enough to line up the day before it goes on sale.
“I’m definitely going to wait until the rush dies down a little,” said the 29-year-old. “I’ve been using the same crappy cell phone for three years, I can wait another month. But I’ll be keeping close tabs on the lines and getting one as soon as I don’t have to wait.”
For the first time ever, the iPhone 4 will come unlocked, meaning a user will be able to sign it up with any cell phone service provider.
