Shoulder pads, big hair and retro ’80s music helped set the tone for a Dynasty-themed evening that raised $175,000 for the animals at the Ottawa Humane Society’s Saturday.
Held at the National Gallery of Canada, the 6th annual FurBall saw close to 320 guests.
The evening’s tally surpassed the organization’s fundraising goal for the event and will help over 11,000 animals in the coming year.
“The animals in our community will have a much brighter future thanks to their generosity,” said OHS executive director Bruce Roney.
