Erik Glavic leaving SMU, joins Calgary Dinos

The Saint Mary’s Huskies have lost Hec Crighton award winning quarterback Erik Glavic to the Calgary Dinos.

Glavic, entering his third year of eligibility, was Canadian Interuniversity Sport football’s player of the year in 2007 but missed most of last season with a knee injury.

The Dinos are coached by former Huskies head coach Blake Nill.

The Huskies are handing the starting quarterback duties to Jack Creighton, who was named MVP of last year’s Atlantic University Sport Loney Bowl as a rookie filling in for Glavic.
