Well, at least it’s not snow.

Wet weather is in the forecast for the entire weekend in HRM, including heavy rains throughout Friday, with up to 75 millimetres possible by day’s end.

“It’s going to be heavy at times, then there’s going to be a little break, then another shot of heavy rains, and then a break again,” Environment Canada senior meteorologist Bob Robichaud said about Friday.

“That’s kind of going to be the day it is.”

Environment Canada issued a heavy rainfall warning for Halifax Thursday.

The rain was forecasted to begin after midnight and last all day Friday.

The forecast is calling for periods of rain Saturday and showers Sunday.

Temperatures will be in the mid-to-high teens.
