His television show has won the hearts of viewers and now he’s about to win the hearts of Calgarians at the 2010 Calgary Home and Interior Design Show.
ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’s Ty Pennington is just one of the highlights of this year’s show, and this Sunday at noon Calgarians will get the chance to meet the charming, do-it-yourself guru in person.
“He will be at the show talking to people and signing autographs after, and that’s definitely very exciting for everyone,” show manager Terri Higgins said.
This year, Calgarians will also be treated to more exhibitors than ever with 350 different booths featuring various home and interior design products, including an Urban Barn design stage.
“We will have home renovations, home furnishings, kitchen and bath, arts, and really there is just everything to do with the home design and renovations.”
Higgins said about 60 per cent of attendees are new and the remaining are repeat visitors.
The show kicks off today at 4 p.m. and runs until Sunday at the BMO Centre at Stampede park.
