A new Facebook group called Reasonable Doubt In Pitt Meadows is defending the roughly seven men and boys accused of raping a teenage girl at a rave.
According to the page, the group is “for the people who have yet to jump on the bandwagon headed out to lynch the men/boys involved in the alleged rape.”
It argues that the media are sensationalizing this case.
One group member blames the victim and claims she willingly put herself in a vulnerable position.
As of deadline yesterday, the group had 11 members, nine of whom are women.
