It’s harvest time and that means a bounty ... of wine.

The month-long Nova Scotia Fall Wine Festival starts tomorrow to celebrate Nova Scotia winemakers.

Besides the grape stomp, there are tours, dinners and, of course, tastings.

“The Fall Wine Festival celebrates the harvest season,” said Janice Ruddock, with the Winery Association of Nova Scotia, in a release.

“In the fall, the wineries are at their best. You can see plump grapes hanging from the vines, observe the staff working in the vineyards and smell the fermenting wine.”
