Alison Sweeney is the host of “The Biggest Loser” and appears on “Days Of Our Lives” — but she also finds the time in her schedule to plan her family’s meals.
Any tricks for getting your kids to eat healthy?
I try to make the veggies that I cook taste good. I don’t force [my son] Ben to try asparagus, but I do insist he eat his veggies. I don’t allow second helpings of rice or other yummier things unless he’s eaten them.
Do you have good eating habits, being a busy mom?
I try to, yes. I think being prepared is key. I always start the day with a healthy breakfast. Then I make sure to have good snacks available and healthy meal options either with me when I’m on the go or in my fridge.
