“It’s feminine and feminist. I like things that make you feel sensual, but at the same time I like something really chill,” says designer Suzanne Rae of her line. For her first runway show, the Brooklynite showed breezy dresses and effortless separates inspired by traditional Japanese fabrics and patterns. “I was feeling nostalgia for a simpler time,” she says.
