The father of a critically ill infant at the centre of a heart donor drama in Toronto says he’s meeting with doctors Friday to see if there’s any hope his daughter will survive.
Jason Wallace says he wants his two-month-old daughter to live, but also wants to save another child if she can’t survive.
Kaylee Wallace is in the Hospital for Sick Children to be treated for a rare brain condition that doctors said will ultimately claim her life.
But after being taken off life-support Tuesday night in the expectation she would die and her heart would be transplanted to another ill infant, Kaylee began breathing on her own.
