Soaking winter-weary feet in a warm-water bath will provide them with relief.
If you don’t have a footbath, use a bowl or tub that you can comfortably rest both feet in while allowing water to rise over the ankles. Set the bowl on a thick towel to keep the water warm. Add either a half-packet of bath spa crystals into the water or make your own foot treat:
- Mix 1/2 cup (125 mL) of Epsom salts and 1/2 cup (125 mL) of natural sea salt, stirring into the water until dissolved.
- Soak both feet for at least 10 minutes.
- Dry each foot and then massage a moisturizing creme over the feet and ankles.
- Slip on slippers or cotton socks, and let your feet forget about winter for a while.
