Femme Fatale director looks to overcome last-minute move

She has overcome personal tragedy, mental health issues and a home invasion, but now she has to overcome another obstacle.

Femme Fatale Carnivale 4 director Marsha Ellen Meidow has forged on and put her energy into the annual event that supports women and children in Calgary, but now she must sell hundreds more tickets to make tonight’s benefit a success.

“This has been so crazy, we had to switch venues at the last minute and we really need everyone coming out to show their support,” Meidow said.

“This is so much more than a show.”

The burlesque-style show has been moved to Flames Central for tonight, and tickets are available for the sexiest show in the city at Blame Betty on 17th Avenue SW for $20.
