A tree that fell onto a power line during a windstorm Monday morning was responsible for the Peachland wildfire, officials determined yesterday.
In all, 33 firefighters from the B.C. Forest Ministry are working to quell the final hot spots, but an evacuation order remains in effect for the Seclusion Bay resort, as does a state of emergency in both Peachland and West Kelowna.
