A west-end residential fire left a man in his mid-20s with smoke inhalation injuries Tuesday.
At 9:30 a.m., firefighters attended a call at 33 Wade Court off Craig Henry Drive, said Ottawa Fire Platoon Chief Larry King.
Thirty-two firefighters in 13 trucks attended the scene.
The fire, which was at a two-storey, single-family home, is believed to have started on the first floor and extended to the second floor, King said.
Paramedics treated one man, a resident in his 20s, at the scene for smoke inhalation, said paramedic spokesman J.P. Trottier.
The fire caused $150,000 in damage to the structure and $75,000 to the contents.
Ottawa firefighters are continuing the investigation.
