Despite their almost complete lack of clothes, it would be difficult to accuse Michelle Cuthbert and Philip Wittmer of showing too much skin.
The fit pair hit the streets of Vancouver Thursday in their skivvies as part of a Body Worlds promotion in which their skin was airbrushed to resemble the muscles, tendons and bones that lay beneath.
“At first we were both a little nervous,” said Cuthbert, a.k.a. Mrs. Anatomy.
“But as we’ve gotten desensitized to the fact that we’re almost naked it’s been a lot of fun.”
The pair were chosen for the role following a 10-person competition at the Steve Nash Sports Club. The body painting, by airbrush artist Martin Armand, took four to five hours.
“There seem to be a lot of people who seem pretty interested, taking pictures on their phones and whatnot,” Wittmer said.
