Five teens are facing charges following a traffic stop by police on Wednesday night in Dartmouth.

Halifax Regional Police say they stopped a car at Farrell Street just before 10 p.m. and arrested five male occupants after allegedly seeing crack cocaine.

Four 17-year-olds and one 16-year-old, all from Dartmouth, are facing charges of drug trafficking.

Two of the 17-year-olds are also being charged with breaching conditions and appeared Thursday at Halifax youth court.

The other three youths have been released and will appear in court at a later date.
