The sledders’ vehicles were found at a staging area near Beaver Mines Lake and at 6 a.m. Monday, three search and rescue sleds went on an initial patrol in the area, following the route the group was believed to have taken.
All five were found on a small pass, with sleds bogged down in heavy snow.
They were all in good health and expected to get out later Monday.
