Crystal Scriven’s sister Candice Hackman and her mom, Allison, flew in from Fort St. John, B.C., for last night’s Fleetwood Mac concert at the Pengrowth Saddledome.
But, unfortunately for the Mount Royal journalism student and her family, the concert was cancelled four hours prior to the opening.
Her tickets were purchased in January of this year — so they’ve been waiting a few months for the big night.
“We got presale tickets and everything,” said Scriven.
“It’s not nice. We were looking forward to it.”
Scriven isn’t sure if she’ll be in Calgary when the concert is rescheduled, though the show’s promoter said that when the show is rescheduled, the May 12 tickets would be honoured or reimbursed. metro calgary
