TALLAHASSEE. Tropical-fish farms may face losses of as much as 75 percent following a January cold snap, the state’s agriculture agency said.

The loss may reach about $20 million, according to an e-mail statement from the state’s Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services sent today by spokeswoman Liz Compton. Some small producers lost all of their fish, the state said.
