Police in Peel Region have charged four suspects in relation to a robbery, kidnapping and tractor-trailer theft at a Bank Street LCBO in July.
Shortly after midnight on July 28, a driver was accosted in his tractor-trailer while in the parking lot of an LCBO in the 1900 block of Bank Street. He was restrained by two males who later left the lot with the driver in the tractor-trailer.
The driver was later found in the area of Vaudreuil, Que., along with the tractor. He was not injured.
Police charged four suspects with robbery, conspiracy, kidnapping, and use of an imitation firearm during commission of an offence.
Mohamed Farhan Mohamed Mashood, 28, of Pickering, Srimoorthy Pathmanathan, 34, of Milton, Kanthasamy Thirumal, 36, of Ajax, and Majurathan Baskaran, 21, of Toronto, appeared in court recently.
