Four charged in three city bank robberies

Ottawa police have charged four people after investigating threeseparate robberies, all targeting a Centretown TD Canada Trust Bankbranch.

Ottawa police have charged four people after investigating three separate robberies, all targeting a Centretown TD Canada Trust Bank branch.

The branch, located in the 1600 block of Scott Street, was robbed three times between Feb. 6, and Oct. 28 last year.

On Feb. 6, two women entered the bank brandishing a knife. The women bound two of the employees and had a third employee assist them with a safe.

On Aug. 28, the bank received a phone call from a woman threatening to detonate a bomb if employees did not meet her demands.

In the third incident on Oct. 28, a lone male approached a teller. A bank card was provided and money was deposited into an account.

Brandon Dawson-Jarvis, 22, and Nkosane Massop, 21, both of Ottawa, and Clea Minns, 23, and Khadijah Descotes, 22, both of Montreal, face various charges.
