Four members of the Saint Mary’s Huskies have earned Atlantic University Sport men’s hockey all-star selections.

Fifth-year captain Marc Rancourt and third-year defenceman Andrew Hotham were named to the first team, while third-year defenceman David MacDonald and third-year right-winger Cody Thornton earned second-team nods.

The Huskies won their second straight AUS banner on Monday with a 3-0 sweep of the St. Francis Xavier X-Men at the Forum.

Rancourt finished second to AUS most valuable player Hunter Tremblay in scoring with 41 points in 27 games, while Hotham led all blue-liners with 39 points in 27 games.

Defenceman Luke Gallant, a Bedford native in his third season with the New Brunswick Varsity Reds, was also on the first team, while former Halifax Mooseheads forward Bryce Swan cracked the second team.

Huskies goaltender Neil Conway was named to the all-rookie team, while third-year forward Cam Fergus was selected as most sportsmanlike player for the second straight season.
