Fox takes dip in Port Moody

Actress <strong>Megan Fox</strong> was spotted shooting a titillating nude skinny-dipping scene in PortMoody recently for her latest film, <strong>Jennifer’s Body</strong>.


Actress Megan Fox, who made a name for herself playing Mikaela Banes in last year’s Transformers flick — and who is currently ranked number one on IMDB’s STARmeter — was spotted shooting a titillating nude skinny-dipping scene in Port Moody recently for her latest film, Jennifer’s Body. The film, from Juno director Jason Reitman, has been lensing all around the Lower Mainland, and stars Fox as a possessed cheerleader who begins offing her male classmates. The film also stars Adam Brody (The O.C.), Johnny Simmons (Evan Almighty) and J.K. Simmons (Spider-Man).

Meanwhile, Hayden Panettiere was at Alouette Lake in Maple Ridge last Wednesday filming sequences for I Love You Beth Cooper, the story of a nerdy valedictorian who proclaims his love for the hottest and most popular girl in school. Panettiere who has been sighted around town quite often recently, is best known for playing Claire in the hit NBC series Heroes.

Mail Order Bride comes to town: Daphne Zuniga (One Tree Hill) and Greg Evigan (TekWar) have signed on to star in the Hallmark Channel telefilm Mail Order Bride, which is set to shoot in Vancouver with an eye toward a November premiere. Zuniga plays a woman whose friend dies before coming out West to be a mail-order bride. Zuniga’s character takes her friend’s place in order to escape from a mobster (Evigan) who “owns her” and keeps her involved in illegal activities she doesn’t want to be a part of anymore.

Butterfly to land in Vancouver: A third installment of The Butterfly Effect is in the works, and will arrive in Vancouver Sept. 1 to begin filming. The story centres on a young man with the power to time travel who attempts to solve the mystery of his high school girlfriend’s death.
Both the original film — which starred Ashton Kutcher as a young man who blocks out harmful memories of significant events in his life (2004) — and the sequel (2006), shot in Vancouver. No casting info has yet been announced.
