Full slate for PM today in Nova Scotia

Prime Minister Stephen Harper is in the province today, although not in Halifax.

He’s starting his day at Waterville at 10:30 a.m. to make an announcement at the Michelin Plant with Greg Kerr, MP for West Nova. From there, he’ll head to Lunenburg for a photo opportunity and another announcement.

Premier Darrell Dexter and Gerald Keddy, the South Shore-St. Margaret’s MP, will join Harper at the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic. The last stop of the day will be in New Ross.

There, Harper will speak at the Nova Scotia Member’s reception. MPs in attendance include Keddy, Kerr, and Scott Armstrong, MP for Cumberland-Colchester-Musquodoboit Valley.

No meeting

Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Premier Darrell Dexter won’t be meeting privately during today’s visit.
