Fundraiser carries burlesque touch

Burlesque performer Mademoiselle Nestle Chocolat.

Big-hearted burlesque

This coming Monday, make your way to the vampy Tarts ‘N’ Tassles fundraiser at Live Organic Food Bar (264 Dupont, at Spadina), hosted by local burlesque performer Mademoiselle Nestle Chocolat (a.k.a., Natalie Hope), who is preparing to run a marathon to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.

From 7-10 p.m., attendees will enjoy sweets, treats, a silent auction, a sale of frisky tassel pasties, cheeky games, seductive cocktails and live music by Lila Rose, as well as burlesque performances.

Admission is by donation at the door. For more info, visit www.myspace.com/nestlechocolator call 416-823-7146.

Shoppers can get their clothing fill from the sale on at H&M.

Several racks of trendy spring/summer separates are now going for super low prices at this budget-fashion source, with many included in the “buy one, get one free” promotion. Stock is quickly disappearing, so get there soon to peruse the tempting offerings.

FF found all kinds of cute two-for-one printed tops, tunic dresses, jersey hammer-pants and pretty skirts with appliques for as low as $7 — most items are now tagged well under $30. Top tip: some say the suburban locations have better selection.
